Miami-Dade and Broward are in the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone under the Florida Building Code, which sets stricter standards for roofing, windows, doors and other exterior components. Many of those products need a Miami-Dade Notice of Acceptance (NOA) and must be installed according to that approval.

Permitting timelines can vary by municipality, and inspections are thorough. Planning for that up front, and knowing which approvals a project needs, helps avoid delays later. Heat, humidity and the rainy season also affect scheduling, especially for exterior work, so we plan accordingly.
